Almost every year I create a short animation to send around wishing everybody a happy new year. This year I decided to use only Free and Open Source Software (FOSS) in doing so. Here is the result, created in Blender, edited using Kdenlive, with audio processed in Tenacity:

For 2024 I used Krita to create a 2D animation, which I apparently never added sound to:
It seems I skipped 2023, but for 2022 I went with stop motion and time lapse. And a lot of audio. Back then we thought the events of 2021 were pretty unprecedented.
