Last week a mysterious package arrived, from Brazil. It contained a statue, but no letter. It took a while to realize what it was.

In 2020 the animation Boom -> Bust had won the Troféu Mapinguari – Prêmio Melhor Experimental (Best Experimental) at Cineamazônia (Festival de Cinema Ambiental 17ª Edição)

Back in 2020, I had actually liked the announcement on Facebook, but this being the height of the pandemic, it had not fully registered I had won an award. So it was quite a surprise to receive the actual trophy in the mail!
